November 9, 1943 – Born in Tokyo
10-15 Years Old – Passionate sumo fighter in the schoolyard
1956 – Admission to the Jesuit high school “Eiko Gakuen” in YokosukaHigh School “Eiko Gakuen” in Yokosuka
1957-1958 – Member of high school baseball club
1958 – Received the baptism of a German Jesuit priest
1959-1960 – Member of gymnastics club of the high schoolHigh School on
1962 – Joined the faculty of philosophy at the Jesuit University Sophia / Tokyo and was a member of the swimming club of the university.
1963 – Switched to the University Athletics Club and specialized in the long distance running
1964 – Interrupted his studies and entered the Jesuit order in Hiroshima
1967 – Began studying philosophy at Sophia University again
1967-1969 – Dedicated himself to karate training with a private teacher and alone
1968-1970 – Actively participated in the student movement, but non-violently
1969 – Obtained a diploma in philosophy with a thesis on the theory of ideas of Plato and took up postgraduate studies in philosophy
01/30/1970 – Began Aikido training at Aikikai Honbu Dojo / Tokyo and mainly studied with masters Koichi Tohei, Yasuo Kobayashi, Masando Sasaki, Seiichiro Masuda and Seishiro Endo
1971 – Completed the master’s degree in philosophy with a thesis on the epistemology of Nicholas Cusanus
1972 – Came to Germany to attend the Phil. Theol. College in Frankfurt am Main to study theology
1975 – Resigned from the Jesuit order shortly before ordination to the priesthood and married Susanne Molly
1975-1978 – Taught religion at St. Ursula-Gymnasium / GeisenheimReligion at St. Ursula-Gymnasium / Geisenheim
1976 – Graduated in theology with a thesis on the inspirational theory of Karl Rahner
1978 – Met Master Kenji Shimizu and became his foreign Uchideshi.
Became Tendoryu representative in Europe after M. Shimizu split from Aikikai.
Began teaching religion at the Ganztagsgymnasium in Osterburken and founded the Aikido department in the Schul-Sport-Club Osterburken
1983 – Separated himself from master Shimizu and founded Shinkido
1987 – Built the Shinki Dojo, together with Susanne, as the central Dojo of the Shinkiryu Aikido (renamed from Shinkido),developed own techniques and studied with the masters Seigo Yamaguchi (1924-1996), Morihiro Saito (1928-2002), Nobuyoshi Tamura ( 1933-2010), Kyoichi Inoué (Yoshinkan, 1935-2017), Takeshi Kimeda (Yoshinkan, 1941-)
Jan. 1989 – Met master Katsumi Yonezawa (+1998) of Daitoryu Aiki Jujutsu Kodokai in Munich, where he worked as a professional, and began to learn from him
1994 – Through the mediation of Yamaguchi Shihan together with all students of the Shinkiryu again joined the Aikikai. The organization of Shinkiryu Aikido took the name Aikido Shinki Rengo
1995 – Graduated from Aikikai Honbu Dojo with 5th Dan in Aikido by Seigo Yamaguchi Shihan. This same year, Yonezawa Shihan separated from Kodokai and founded a new style called Bokuyokan. Nakajima became the European representative
Nov. 1998 – Yonezawa Soshi Shihan dies
Jan. 1999 – Graduated according to the will of Yonezawa Shihan (from Bokuyokan Honbu) to the 6th Dan in Daitoryu Aiki Jujutsu. The Bokuyokan European Division was given the rank of Jun-Honbu alongside the American Department, and Nakajima was named the Europe-Jun Honbu-Cho. Since then, the America Jun Honbu Cho Tim Tung (then 7th Dan, Shihan) and he support the son of Yonezawa Shihan Hiromitsu as the new soke of the Daitoryu Aiki Jujutsu Bokuyokan.
Aug. 2002 – was graduated by the new Soke to Bokuyokan 7th Dan and appointed Shihan
September 2002 – began training Onoha Ittoryu Kenjutsu with Reigakudo / Takemi Sasamori Soke
Jan. 2004 – Promoted by the mediation of Nobuyoshi Tamura Shihan from Aikikai Honbu to the 6th Dan
May 2005 – Promoted by Bokuyokan Soke Hiromitsu Yonezawa to Daitoryu Aiki Jujutsu 8th Dan
Autumn 2009 – Separated from Onoha Ittoryu Reigakudo and founded Ittoden Shinki Toho as an integration of various Ittoryu styles
2010 – Shinkiryu founded Aiki Budo as the Three-One of Aikido, Daitoryu and Kenjutsu
May 2013 – Aikido Shinki Rengo is officially recognized as a member by the Aikikai Honbu Dojo
12.Jan. 2014 – Appointed to Shihan through Aikikai Honbu dojo by Doshu Ueshiba Moriteru
06.June 2015 – Promoted to the 9th Dan of the Daitoryu Aiki Jujutsu by Soke Hiromitsu Yonezawa
January 10, 2016 – Promoted to to the 7th Dan through Aikikai Honbu Dojo by Doshu Moriteru Ueshiba
July 20,2018 – completed his doctorate in theology (Dr. theol.) with the thesis “Being – Word – Love. Word and love as basic revelations of divine being – the theological consequences of Ferdinand Ebner’s thinking”
January 30, 2020 – 50th anniversary since the beginning of Aikido training at the Aikikai Honbu Dojo / Tokyo
