Training Videos with Koichi Tohei, 9th Dan Aikido and founder of the Ki Society:
Below are links to a five part instructional video series by Kochi Tohei (10th Dan – deceased founder of Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido, and Chief Instructor at Honbu dojo on O’Sensei’s death in 1969) that are tremendous for their historical value as well as their detailed tips. There is no sound, but the detail of visual instruction is outstanding! Each is Approximately 8-9 minutes long. Bill had found these after a discussion about Tohei’s demonstration at the First US Judo Tournament in San Jose, California in 1953 http://www.aikidojournal.com/article?articleID=640 as recalled by Robert Smith.
